A group of young maths pupils at Rydal Penrhos tried their hand at some challenging work that defied their age.
The Year 7 pupils took a shine to the IGCSE work left on the Whiteboard of Mathematics teacher Ffion Lloyd on Thursday, April 27, and wanted to gift the testing work a go for themselves.
Such was their curiosity Miss Lloyd took the opportunity to teach the eager pupils how to answer the questions they were looking at on the board, before proceeding to answer the IGCSE past paper examination questions despite knowing nothing on them before the lesson began.
Miss Lloyd, said: “I was absolutely amazed by their enthusiasm and quality of their work.
“They were completely fascinated by the work that our IGCSE group has been doing in the lead-up to their exams, and they grasped the Year 10 and 11 work superbly despite only being in Year 7.
“The future is very bright with this group and they are a pleasure to teach.”
