Aspiring Preparatory School scientists have produced some stunning work as part of a special science project.
The Year 5 group at Rydal Penrhos were given the broad task of coming up with a model on Space, which saw them choose a specific element associated with the intriguing theme.
They spent considerable time researching their respective designs, before putting their ideas into action during classroom lessons and during their own time at home.
This tremendous commitment brought with it some incredible final designs, which saw everything from stars, planets, shuttles and dark matter created by the contingent.
Each pupil proudly showcased their creations in front of the whole Prep School during the final Celebration Assembly before the festive break, and received considerable praise from Head Alison Hind as a result of their outstanding application and commitment to the project.
She said: “This project is something we do annually and it really captures the imagination of each pupil involved.
“They are a truly fantastic bunch of children who work incredibly hard to maximise each opportunity that is afforded to them here at Rydal Penrhos, and they can be enormously proud of what they accomplished both during this particular project and throughout Prep School life in general since the start of the academic year.”
