A group of aspiring dancers took the stage at a regional celebration last week.
The Year 5 and 6 pupils at Rydal Penrhos travelled to Hulme on Wednesday, April 25, where they participated in the annual Moor Allerton Celebration of Dance.
Prior to the event, the contingent worked tirelessly on their routine alongside teacher Clare Chamberlain, who provided plenty of advice and guidance that stood them in good stead ahead of their performance.
Their hard work was both rewarded and reflected with their effort in front of a large crown, with their dance routine one of the highlights of the showcase and resulted in a standing ovation from those in attendance.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Our young dancers were a credit to themselves and everyone here at Rydal Penrhos, and I know they got an enormous amount out of the whole experience.
“Dance is just one of the many co-curricular opportunities we offer to each pupil under our care here at the Prep School, and their dedication to improving under the leadership of our hard-working staff is something that they can be extremely proud of.”
