A former Rydal Penrhos pupil has been appointed as an ambassador for a leading travel company.
Welsh captain Suzy Drane will be joining MSG Tours as a Netball Ambassador and will be working with the organisation to assist with any future excursions throughout the globe.
Holding 81 International Caps for her country, Suzy has been representing her country since her International debut against Jamaica in June 2005 and is extremely passionate about growing the global participation levels of netball.
She gained first-hand experience of MSG Tours in Greece as a tour leader and coach with Rydal Penrhos’ netball tour of Greece, and the company also sponsored the Celtic Dragons captain for the inaugural Super Clubs Tournament, held in Nelson, New Zealand.
Suzy, said: “I am extremely excited to be teaming up with MSG Tours as one of their ambassadors.
“I am passionate about the value of sport and the opportunities this can present on and off the field.
“I have been fortunate enough to have seen a lot of the world and learnt about various places and cultures through my sport. I am excited to be working with the MSG Team to present others with the opportunities to have great travel and life experiences through sport.”
Mark Gardner, MSG Tours Director, added “Suzy’s values, dedication to the game of netball and infectious personality make this a very natural appointment to our extended MSG family.
“We’re excited to launch our extended range of innovative tours to clubs and schools worldwide. Suzy’s playing experiences against the Caribbean sides, Sri Lanka and Malawi fit perfectly into our portfolio of delivering the unexpected destinations to our netball family.”
