Staff and pupils at Rydal Penrhos have been given a series of wonderful opportunities thanks to an ongoing initiative.
Hard-working receptionist Sarah James has put together another fantastic Weekend Activities programme for the Summer Half Term, which has been implemented with a view to giving each day and boarding pupil the opportunity to sample different experiences and socialise with their classmates outside of normal school hours.
The schedule begins with a shopping trip to the Trafford Centre in Manchester, and this will be followed by a trip to Llandegla to take part in Clay Pigeon shooting.
Colwyn Bay’s Forties Festival will give those in attendance to step back in time over a two-day period, while the highly anticipated Inter-Boarding House Superstars competition is sure to be another notable highlight.
Edwards Boarding House members will be travelling to Storyhouse Chester to sample their Women Weekend, while thrill-seeking members of the school community will be tested to their limits during a mountain biking excursion to Snowdonia.
Those looking to upgrade their wardrobe can do so on a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks, with next month’s outing to Segway Safari in Criccieth another eye-catching addition to the calendar.
Sailing, climbing and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions also feature throughout the half term, which all leads up to Rydal Penrhos’ annual Speech Day and Leavers’ Ball.
Anyone wishing to book on any of the trips, or for more information contact Miss James on 01492 530155 or via email at SJames@rydalpenrhos.com.
