Preparatory School pupils closed out the half term in style thanks to a special event.
The Rydal Penrhos pupils enjoyed an afternoon of music, food and games during their annual Pre-Prep and Prep Valentine’s Discos, which took place on Friday, February 9.
There were a host of things for the groups to enjoy throughout the dance, including dressing up for their very own photo booth.
In addition, there was plenty of music to enjoy from their favourite artists, and pupils kept their energy up with cakes, drinks and other Valentine’s Day treats.
Members of the Friends of Rydal Penrhos committee decorated the School Hall with hundreds of balloons and colourful lights, while the new addition of a Popcorn machine proved to be most popular.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Disability Skiing Wales, who train volunteers and work with disabled people on dry ski slopes in Wales.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to our Friends of Rydal Penrhos committee on behalf of everyone here at the Prep School in making our Valentine’s Discos such a success once again.
“They did a wonderful job of dressing up the hall and the pupils all had a fabulous time. Hopefully, we managed to raise a considerable amount for a very worthy cause in Disability Skiing Wales.”
