Rydal Penrhos U16 Rugby 7s squad will be testing their skills at one of the most prestigious tournaments of the season this week.
The group departs for the Rosslyn Park 7s tournament in London on Monday, March 19, which is widely regarded as the most competitive competition on the schools’ circuit.
The aspiring hopefuls have been drawn in Group Y of the event, which will see them take on St Benedict’s School, Ealing, St Paul’s School, The Portsmouth Grammar School and Truro School.
RGC West duo Finlay Hare and Sam Bixby will be looking to continue their excellent form throughout the season at the prestigious tournament, while the hard-working pair of Edward Patrick and Jacob Heaton-Rue will also feature prominently.
Michael Thomas has shown his ability on a consistent basis this season, and Jake Palmer-Reid, Josh Doyle and Theo Bryant have also been named in the squad after impressing during training.

“Our squad always learn an enormous amount from the experience, and hopefully their hard work in the build-up to the competition brings with it some impressive results.”
