Three aspiring Preparatory School performing artists have received recognition for their hard work with outstanding grading results.
Ava Culver, Eleanor Turner and Ifana Wyn Jones, Year 3 pupils at Rydal Penrhos, took part in their London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art assessments prior to the summer break, and they were thrilled to receive their outstanding marks last week.
The trio all secured Distinctions in their LAMDA Solo Introductory Stage One grading after honing their skills under the expert guidance of Speech and Drama teacher Christina Bloomfield in the lead-up to the test.
They were part of a hugely successful overall performance from the Prep and Senior candidates, with the trio now looking for further assessment achievements in the future.
Ava, Eleanor and Ifana all received their certificates, together with a generous round of applause, from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, September 14.
Mrs Hind, said: “Ava, Eleanor and Ifana can be rightfully proud of their exceptional achievement during their LAMDA examination, and this will stand them in extremely good stead as they look to develop their skills in the weeks and months ahead.
“We are very proud of our ability to encourage creativity through the performing arts here at Rydal Penrhos, which builds confidence both in and out of the classroom which is hugely beneficial to each child’s overall development.”
