A Preparatory School performing artist has been rewarded for her outstanding application with an impressive grading success.
Tilly Trueman, a Year 5 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, has added to the school’s rich history of London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art assessment achievements with an exceptional showing during her recent test prior to the summer break.
The nine-year-old produced a superb effort during her Speaking Verse and Prose Entry Level examination to receive a Distinction as a result of her wonderful preparation and performance in front of adjudicators.
She will now begin working hard with Rydal Penrhos’ passionate staff team with a view to securing further accolades in the future, and this is the latest in a long line of different achievements across all areas of school life.
Her accomplished performances during the annual Year 4 play came in for significant praise at the end of the last academic year, and Tilly continues to show tremendous progress both in and out of the classroom that continues to give her a fantastic platform from which to build for the remainder of her school life.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Tilly is enormously passionate on stage and about all things related to Performing Arts, and the confidence she displays in front of an audience for someone so young is truly fantastic to see.
“It came as no shock to me to hear of Tilly’s incredible Distinction in regards to her latest grading, and hopefully this is just the start for her and what she can achieve in the future.”
