Three more Preparatory School pupils have come through various levels of a thriving academic initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised the popular Spelling Challenge scheme for pupils in 2017, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, with the successful pupils receiving their respective accolades from Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at their weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, June 14.
Deputy Head Boy Cieran Milligan is now just one level away from completing the initial part of the challenge after successfully coming through his Stage Three Silver assessment with flying colours, with fellow Year 6 pupil Gabriel Donohue also achieving success in the form of a Stage Two Gold Award.
Rounding off the latest achievements was Year 3 pupil Finlay Brown, who continues to show great progress in relation to the challenge and is now the proud owner of a Stage One Silver Award.
Mrs Hind, said: “It is always a source of great pride for our pupils to gain success in our Spelling Challenge, and this is something that is evident across all year groups taking part.
“The initiative has been incredibly well support by children and staff alike, and this has given each pupil another incredibly useful way of improving their overall development within a classroom environment.”
