Four more Preparatory School pupils have received recognition with impressive grading results in their recent Performing Arts grading.
The Rydal Penrhos pupils have enjoyed an enormous amount of success from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art examinations they sat prior to the summer break, and they have been rewarded for their hard work with outstanding accolades.
Keira Luke and Sophie Edwards, Year 6 pupils at the Prep School, managed to secure a Distinction from their Devising Drama Grade 1 Duo assessment, with the pair working well and displaying fantastic chemistry throughout in order to achieve the highest available mark.
There was further cause for celebration in the form of Lexi-May Williams, who attained a Distinction in her Solo Introductory Stage One grading, and Bill Gan rounded off the triumphs with a Merit in his Solo Introductory Stage Two examination.
Each successful pupil received their certificates from Prep School Head Alison Hind during the first Celebration Assemblies of the academic year on September 14 and 21.
Mrs Hind, said: “I cannot speak highly enough of our young Performing Artists here at Rydal Penrhos, who continue to thrive and take full advantage of this wonderful opportunity afforded to them here at Rydal Penrhos.
“Performing at such a young age can be a daunting prospect, but they have shown a composure and maturity beyond their years and this is reflected in their exceptional overall grades.”
