Talented Preparatory School netballers battled it out at a hotly contested event before the break.
Rydal Penrhos’ annual Inter-House Netball competition took place on Tuesday, March 27, which saw Snowdon, Pembroke and Brecon compete in a round-robin format in the hopes of achieving the overall prize.
It proved to be another fantastic showcase of the talent situated throughout the Prep School’s year groups, who have all progressed their game considerably thanks to the sterling work done by Head of Girls’ Games Jude Pyves and other coaching staff at Rydal Penrhos throughout the season.
After a competitive afternoon of action, Snowdon emerged as comfortable victors of the tournament, with House captains Jasmin Beckett-Donald and Elise Mazars picking up the trophy from Deputy Head Alison Hind on the final day of term.
Mrs Hind, said: “This was another fantastic competition and each pupil that took part really gave everything, which shows how much house pride means to them.
“This was especially pleasing and is consistent with what is demonstrated across all department competitions throughout the academic year, and congratulations go to Snowdon House on their deserved victory.
“A huge thanks also goes to Mrs Pyves and all other staff that organised the event and ensured it was a great success once again.”
