A Preparatory School skiing sensation continued his remarkable run of success with a double triumph.
Xavier Poynton, a Year 1 pupil at Rydal Penhos, added to his impressive list of recent accolades by taking home a pair of high-profile regional competitions earlier this month.
The talented six-year-old was the standout performer in the U8 category at the North Wales Snowsports Club Championship on Saturday, July 15, where he took home the gold in comfortable fashion after one of the finest performances of his young career.
This was followed up just four days later at the North Wales Snowsports Club Series at Capel Curig, where he not only took the U8 crown but also managed to secure a clean sweep after being crowned overall series winner after a blistering effort.
Xavier will now being looking forward to the latest session as part of the Ambition Racing Summer Camp, which is being held at the Chill Factore in Manchester.
The prestigious International Ski Racing program is primarily based in Leogang, Austria and is also the UK's leading ski race training provider, specialising in program design and development for elite and developing athletes.
