A selfless Rydal Penrhos pupil received a special award for her efforts throughout her final academic year.
Stephanie Gray, an Upper Sixth pupil at the school, was presented with the Good Samaritan Cup at Rydal Penrhos’ annual Speech Day event, which was held earlier this year.
The 18-year-old has been a huge member of the school community and has taken part in a host of charitable causes which were the catalyst behind her receiving the prize.
She has also served as an incredible role model to younger pupils at Rydal Penrhos during her time here, and the International Baccalaureate pupil managed to secure an impressive final mark thanks to her performances in subjects such as English and Spanish.
Deputy head Tim Cashell, said: “Stephanie has been a hugely influential figure at Rydal Penrhos and she will be sorely missed by both staff and pupils alike next year.
“She is has been a joy to both teach and be around on a consistent basis, and has also grown in confidence and stature with every passing year she has attended the school.
“These factors ensured that Stephanie was a thoroughly deserving winner of this year’s Good Samaritan Cup, and everyone at Rydal Penrhos wishes her the very best of luck as she embarks on her further education journey.”
