A budding Preparatory School performing artist took the stage as part of a high-profile regional show.
Siham Clarke, a Year 1 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, performed at Rhyl’s Pavilion Theatre’s annual Junior Showtime 2017 extravaganza earlier this month.
The six-year-old worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to the performance by attending all rehearsals, and mother Dr Huyam Abdelsalam stated that the pupil “really loved performing on stage”.
More than 100 dancers took part in the Gay Harris Dancers’ Junior Showtime throughout the month, with the performance now renowned for its impressive dancing and footwork throughout the region and beyond.
The Gay Harris Dancers have been performing their annual summer production at the Pavilion Theatre for more than 20 years and is a classic variety show featuring song, dance and lots of fun.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Congratulations go to Siham for her wonderful efforts as part of the Junior Showtime performance, and I know that this experience was an extremely worthwhile one for her.
“She is incredibly passionate about performing and Siham was a keen supporter of the recent Year 6 production of The Lion King Musical, and hopefully this is just the start for her in terms of stage experience.”
