Preparatory School pupils got an early visit from Father Christmas this week – on none other than skis.
To mark the last skiing session before the Christmas break, Santa Claus joined Rydal Penrhos pupils at the dry ski slope in Llandudno where he handed out chocolates to the budding skiers for their efforts on Friday, December 14.
The skiing programme at the school has gone from strength-to-strength in recent months, with notable success in both regional and national competitions across the country.
Pupils decorated their helmets in festive attire as they headed down the slopes for the last time this year, under the watchful eye of the instructors at the slope.
Fortunately, Santa also made it down the slope unscathed to the delight of the pupils.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “We offer skiing to our pupils at a very young age and this is something most of them take advantage of.
“It is a little different and something that excites our pupils a great deal, and their enjoyment is connected to their phenomenal success on the slopes.
“It was great that Father Christmas managed to tackle the slopes with minimal fuss and handed out chocolates to the excited children, and we hope that next season brings even more success.”
