Rydal Penrhos’ sailing provision is offering parents the chance to get on the water with their children at a special event.
The school announced a Parent and Sibling Water-Sports Day, which is set to take place on Monday, April 8 and will run from 9am until 4.30pm.
There will be a host of fun-filled activities for those in attendance to enjoy throughout the event, which is part of the department’s RYA Accredited Easter pre-season holiday courses.
Boats, personal buoyancy aids will be provided, and there will also be some expert coaching on hand from Head of Sailing Max Todd and other members of the team.
Sailing administrator Petrina Blomeley, said: “If you’ve always wanted to try sailing or windsurfing this is a great opportunity to come along with your sailor and have a go yourself. Your sailor can show you the ropes!
“The weather and sea conditions are always taken into account to ensure the safety of all involved
“Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further questions.”
The cost of the Parent and Sibling Water-Sports Day is £75 for two people (parent and child), and drinks and snacks will provided throughout the event.
Anyone wishing to book can do so by emailing Mrs Blomeley at PBlomeley@rydalpenrhos.com.
