Sixth Form pupils at Rydal Penrhos have been given a significant aid in their quest for a smooth transition into the next stage of their education.
The school has announced that it has invested in the high-profile UniFrog platform, which will aid with various application processes considerably in the future.
Those leaving Rydal Penrhos can easily find and apply for every course and apprenticeship in the UK – with the company offering everything from courses to School Leaver Programmes and a huge
The platform is easy to use, intuitive, and makes sure that both pupils and teachers always know their next task.
The school’s pupils can now compare side-by-side every post-16 and post-18 opportunity throughout the country, while personalised dashboards tell both staff and pupils their next task, as well as the tasks they’ve already done and everything they’ve still got left to do. They can even see how they’re doing compared to their peers.
UniFrog will also be offered to Rydal Penrhos’ Year 10 and 11 groups, which will enable them to see exactly what GCSE grades are required for the university courses they intend to pursue.
It also works on mobile and tablet devices as well as desktops.
A representative from the company visited the school’s Lower Sixth last month to go through each area of the platform in detail, while also answering any questions surrounding the product.
Head of Sixth Form Pete Lavery stated that the platform has already become a “hugely beneficial tool” for those that have already used it.
