A Preparatory School year group have been expressing their creativity at a series of special sessions during the first half term of the academic year.
The Reception class have been taking part in special Music sessions under the guidance and leadership of teacher Richard Davies, which has seen them participate in a plethora of different activities designed to improve their development.
Working together in groups, the children have explored everything from vocal technique to expression, in addition to some fun-filled motion based tasks to improve poise, balance and overall teamwork.
This has been implemented with a view to providing the best possible platform for the group, who formally began their education journey in September and will have the opportunity to enhance their musical skills both during lessons and individual lessons on a specific instrument of their choosing as part of the fantastic curriculum here at Rydal Penrhos.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Mr Davies is one of the most passionate, understanding and dedicated teachers I have ever come across during my time at Rydal Penrhos, and his enthusiasm and ability to get the very most out of the children under his care has been especially evident once again during the initial stages with our Reception class.
“They are a truly wonderful group who are so keen to learn and get the most out of every experience presented to them, and hopefully this can continue throughout the remainder of their school life.”
