In the lead-up to our Open Morning events in April, we will be taking a look at the pupils that make Rydal Penrhos such a fantastic place to live and learn.
The latest Prep School pupil under the spotlight is Zack Coverley.
- Name: Zack Coverley
- Year group: Year 6
- Pupil status: Prep
- House: Pembroke
Year 5 pupil Zack has taken full advantage of the many opportunities available to each member of the Rydal Penrhos community, something that has brought with it a huge amount of success.
The 10-year-old has worked incredibly hard under the guidance of Prep School staff to succeed in a number of academic and co-curricular areas, which highlight his wide-ranging potential in a variety of different areas.
His musical achievements are vast and have been a source of great encouragement, with Zack gaining a plethora of grading accolades from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music thanks to the hard work he consistently puts in with Music teacher Richard Davies and other staff at Rydal Penrhos.
Zack has also taken full advantage of the many concerts put on by the school throughout the year to hone his skills further.
The talented footballer has also made a significant contribution to Rydal Penrhos U11 side despite being one of the younger members of the squad along with Biv Gilmartin, and helped them to a semi-final berth at a high-profile tournament in the North West earlier this year.
He is also progressing his golf skills considerably thanks to the partnership between Rydal Penrhos and North Wales Golf Club in Llandudno.
Zack’s academic talents have also been especially evident since he enrolled as a Kindergarten pupil in 2011, and he became one of the youngest to complete the school’s Spelling Challenge as a member of Year 4.
His scientific work has also come in for significant praise, with his work during a recent project on Space drawing widespread plaudits.
Rydal Penrhos will be holding Senior and Prep Open Morning events on Friday, April 26 and Saturday 27 from 9.30am, and to book your place contact Admissions Officer Jenny Marsden on 01492 530155 or email email@example.com.
