A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups have been selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind at the Prep School’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, September 21.
Reception: Griff Robinson-Scoots - for his fabulous contribution in our Read Write Inc lessons.
Year 1: Xander Poynton - for continuing to be an exceptional and supportive friend.
Year 2: William Aspell - for always lining up quietly without needing to be reminded.
3JW: Jensen Hodgson-Roberts - for working hard and having a super start to Year 3.
4CEC: Grayson Williams - for his enthusiastic contributions and recount of a story this week.
5JP: Angelo Katsouris - for his determination in swimming this week.
The Year 6 award winners will be presented next week as they were not at Assembly due to their annual residential trip to the Arete Centre in Llanrug.
Year 5 pupil Charlotte Payne also received recognition as a result of her outstanding efforts, with the multi-talented individual presented with the Artist of the Week Award from teacher Suzy Morris for her portrait of Music teacher Richard Davies.
