A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups have been selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ final weekly Celebration Assembly before the half term break on Friday, October 19.
Reception: Hania Ffowcs Williams - for being so polite and inquisitive on our zoo trip.
Year 1: Jacob de la Mare Norris - for excellent work in Maths.
Year 2: Ella Lloyd-Bloom - for super problem-solving in Maths.
3JW: Lexi-May Williams - for always being so helpful.
4CEC: Josh Williams - for working so well as part of a team in the forest this week.
5JP: Sophie Winters Jones & the Whole Class - for showing increased confidence in all areas, particularly in cross country. For an emotional and mature performance of 'The Highwayman'.
6CC: Ellis Lister-Brookes - for being so enthusiastic about writing his detective story.
6JM: Zack Coverley - for his improved appetite for Maths this week, especially in the extension work.
A fantastic creation from Year 4 pupil James Davies saw him presented with the Artist of the Week award after impressing teacher Suzy Morris considerably with his application and creativity.
