A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups have been selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, November 23.
Reception: Wilfred Jones - for being encouragingly diligent, articulate and helpful in class.
Year 1: Svaksh Singam - for spelling accuracy in Read Write Inc.
Year 2: Darcey Taylor - for working outside her comfort zone in Forest School.
3JW: Tomas Milligan and Xavier Poynton - for working so hard on his handwriting and for his politeness, hard work and super example to others.
4CEC: April Williams - for being a good friend and taking notice of those around her.
5JP: Lily Copeland - for exceptional commitment to the school, admirably representing us in three different sports in three days.
6CC: Fflur Pierce - for her thoughtful and detailed English work.
6JM: Gabe Donohue - for his continued improvement in rugby, demonstrated in recent fixtures.
It was another fantastic few days in the Prep School’s Art department, with James Davies receiving the Artist of the Week Award from teacher Suzy Morris thanks to his exceptional creativity for a specific piece.
