Prep School weekly awards: March 9

A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.

As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.

The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners’ were announced by Deputy Head Alison Hind during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 9.

Reception: Rufus Glanville - for working his socks off!

Year 1: William Aspell & Jaxson Lynch - for his fabulous fractions in Maths and for consistently scoring well in spelling tests.

Year 2: Jensen Hodgson-Roberts - for his phenomenal prowess with analogue and digital time telling.

3JW: Areesha Owais - for being extremely helpful in class towards her friends and working well in Forest School. 

4CEC: Fleur Roberts - for her impeccable manners.

5CC: Adam Williams - for his enthusiastic participation in Hockey.

5JP: Freddie Barrington-Chance - for his enthusiasm and expertise in the hockey goal. 

6AG: Sophie Hall - for her enthusiastic and persuasive arguments in the Year 6 debate. 

6JM: Jasmin Beckett-Donald - for her tag rugby enthusiasm and prowess shown in games!

A stunning mask from the very talented Amelia Williams saw her presented with the Artist of the Week Award after impressing teacher Suzy Morris with the quality of her work.

Louis, William, Svaksh, Oscar and Archie have been catching the eye on the slopes at their session in Llandudno this week, and were presented with Star Skiers’ of the Week at the assembly, while the brother duo of Freddie and Rupert Barrington Chance were awarded their pen licences.
