A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.
The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners’ were announced by Year 2 teacher Gaynor Davies during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 23.
Reception: Adhira Nimalin & Harrison Holland - for showing such an interest and being superstars in all the animals at Pili Palas.
Year 1: Harrison Simmons - for impressive work in Maths and demonstrating good manners at all times.
Year 2: Steffan Atenstaedt & Ifana Wynn Jones - for glorious growing self-confident in self-expression during independent writing.
3JW: Year 3 - for their super Van Gogh assembly at the Senior School.
4CEC: Year 4 - for being such an incredibly talented lot; excellent thespians!
5CC: Freddie MacLaverty - for showing great dedication in improving his reading.
5JP: Theo Roberts - for being kind and helpful to the younger children during the Sports Relief afternoon.
6AG: Max Cowen-Wright - for being kind and helpful to the younger children during the Sports Relief afternoon.
6JM: Perry Williams - for his 3D shape drawing in Maths.
Year 5 have been doing some fantastic work with Suzy Morris on the theme of Mexican sun clocks, and Keira Luke’s stunning creation impressed her teacher so much that she was presented with the Artist of the Week Award.
