A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.
The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners’ were announced by Deputy Head Alison Hind during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 2.
Reception: Harrison Holland - for his effort and progress in all areas.
Year 1: Archie-Glyn Chesworth - for impressing Mrs Hind with his good manners and appreciation for a delicious St David's Day lunch.
Year 2: Ava Culver & Eryn Mart - for progressing through the reading scheme to be much envied free readers.
Year 3: Martha-Rose Johnson - for working hard on her English writing.
Year 4: Jorgie Lynch - for his ongoing positivity & good attitude towards the World Book Day reading session.
Year 5: Freya Berklay - for her enthusiastic approach to reading in class.
Year 5: Zack Coverley - for a consistently high standard of work in English.
Year 6: Max Cowen-Wright - for reading beautifully to the Year 2 children on World Book Day.
Year 6: Jonah Craddock - for his timely return to playing rugby, culminating in being able to pick up where he left off with a resounding performance against Liverpool College.
The Artist of the Week was not available to collect their award due to the adverse weather conditions, but will receive a certificate and badge next week.
