Prep School weekly awards: March 16

A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.

As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.

The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners’ were announced by Deputy Head Alison Hind during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 16.

Reception: Angus de Feranti - for working so hard since coming back from his ski trip.

Year 1: James Mart - for achieving your finger spaces target - Hooray!

Year 2: Ella Payne - for becoming a much-coveted free reader. 

3JW: Noah Roberts & Joshua Williams - for always working hard.  For trying hard with his work.

4CEC: Margarita Aposotolou & Louie Townley Bass - for settling straight back into the year group. For gaining confidence all the time in relation to his part in the play. 

5CC: Keira Luke - for creating thoughtful questions during our Literacy lesson. 

5JP: Cieran Milligan - for his expertise and accuracy in multiplication. 

6AG: Harrison McKinnel - for excellent handwriting.

6JM: Matthew Johnson - for his debating skills shown in English. 

A large number of our aspiring ski group have also received recognition for their efforts on the slopes this week, with Eleanor, Angus, Jaxson, Gabriele, Ellis and Archie securing Skier of the Week honours.
