A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups have been selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Deputy Head Catherine Hughes at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, January 25.
Reception: Zachary Forster - for his fantastic handwriting.
Year 1: Xander Poynton - for making much progress in reading.
Year 2: Lissy Williams - for her brilliant focus and progress in maths.
3JW: Ava Culver - for being really kind towards others.
4CEC: Areesha Owais - for excellent application across the curriculum, most notably her super work on playscripts this week.
5JP: Fleur Roberts
6CC: Pip Roberts - for her amazing accurate work on fractions and percentages.
6JM: Freddie Barrington-Chance - for his continued focus, determination and application in sport.
An impressive portrait from Year 5 pupil Rupert Barrington-Chance saw him secure the Artist of the Week Award from teacher Suzy Morris, with Year 1 winning the coveted Pre-Prep Class of the Week as a result of their superb conduct in and out of the classroom.
The Prep School Class of the Week distinction went to Year 4.
