A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups have been selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, January 18.
Reception: Ashaz Owais – for working hard in all his lessons.
Year 1: Adhira Namalan – for independent work in Maths to locate two digit numbers on a beaded number line.
Year 2: Elliott Spall – for being so helpful with the younger children during swimming.
3JW: Siham Clarke – for working hard in Maths.
4CEC: Sophie Morris – for her lovely PowerPoint on Peregrine falcons.
5JP: Archie Jeeves – for showing determination and attention to detail in all his work.
6CC: Tristan Griffiths – for his effort in Gymnastics lessons.
6JM: Freddie MacLaverty – for his creativity and inventiveness in ICT Robotics.
A stunning portrait from Will Glanville saw him presented with the Artist of the Week Award from teacher Suzy Morris.
The much coveted Pre-Prep Class of the Week went to Reception for the exemplary conduct since the start of term, and the Prep Class of the Week distinction went to the enthusiastic Year 5 group.
