A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 22.
Reception: Jack Brookes-Fazakerley - for his appetite for learning and for lunch!
Year 1: William Culver - for working so diligently in Read Write Inc.
Year 2: Oscar Kennedy-Evans - for always being a kind and helpful friend to his classmates.
3JW: Finlay Brown - for excellent behaviour and example to others throughout the term.
4CEC: Grayson Williams - for his improved tough-tackling in rugby!
5JP: Sophie Winters-Jones and Dominic Chamberlain - for amazing progress with spellings and for neat and accurate work with triangles.
6CC: Ellis Lister-Brookes - for his confident participation in our Year 6 debate.
6JM: Keira Luke - for her excellent debating skills in arguing for why homework is important.
Deputy Head Catherine Hughes then took centre stage to reveal the highly coveted Pre-Prep Class of the Week Award, which went to Year 1 thanks to their exceptional conduct both in and out of the classroom.
The Prep School Class of the Week accolade went to the very enthusiastic and polite Year 4 group.
