Netball round-up: January 31

On Thursday the U15 netball team travelled to Manchester. Due to the heavy rain and slippy court it made play slow and inefficient.

Despite the awful conditions, we persisted and managed to get some shots on goal.  However, our best efforts weren’t good enough. Player of the match was Sydney Johnson.

The U15s travelled to Moreton Hall School on Saturday. We started off strongly with fantastic linked play in the centre third.

This enabled Anna Parry-Williams and Cerys Cuddihy to get multiple shots on goal, but the home side managed to equalise despite great defending by Niamh Smith.

It was a close game up until the last quarter where sadly Moreton Hall managed to scrape the victory. Well done to all the girls involved as this was the best display of netball our team has shown this season. Player of the match goes to Anna Parry-Williams.

The U13As travelled to Moreton Hall School on Saturday, using their knowledge of creating space practiced in games there where some strong passes made by Ella James, Eve Durransd and Ariana Milligan.

Each quarter the team became stronger and stronger. This allowed the ball to be played into the D past a strong GK allowing some fantastic goals by player of the match Maddie Fardoe.
