Netball and Hockey stars at Rydal Penrhos will be heading on the trip of a lifetime later this year.
The senior sides will be descending on Asia for a tour of Malaysia and Singapore in December, which will take place at the same time as the Rugby Tour of Japan.
There will be a host of amazing experiences lined up by tour providers MSG Tours, in addition to taking on some of the top sides from the region.
Among the exciting things planned include trips to the rainforest, Sentosa Island and Petronas Towers.
This tour comes on the back of Rydal Penrhos’ highly successful Netball tour to Greece, where Welsh captain and alumnae Suzy Drane joined the coaching staff to lend her expertise.
Mark Gardner, of MSG Tours, said: “Having enjoyed an excellent partnership with Rydal Penrhos School’s rugby and netball teams in October 2016 – on tours to Portugal and Greece, respectively – we’re thrilled to have been selected to represent the School in two very exciting tours prior to Christmas 2017.
“The netball and hockey teams are embarking on a trip to Malaysia and Singapore. Incorporating Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Singapore city itself, games are scheduled around iconic sightseeing trips to the rainforest, Sentosa Island and the Petronas Towers.
“Rydal Penrhos will also be piloting our new travel app that documents the tours from start to finish, allowing seamless integration with parents, supporters and staff/students alike during the journey.
“December 2017 looks very exciting and planning has already commenced on the schedules to create a unique experience for the students on both itineraries.”
