Netball stars at Rydal Penrhos continued their impressive start to the season with a 10-6 win at St Edward’s College.
The under 14 side dug deep to claim a win over their Liverpool-based opponents, and they were led by another dominant performance from Conwy and Eryri squad member Anna Parry-Williams.
The Year 9 pupil turned in another exceptional shooting performance which was the catalyst behind the triumph, with Cerys Cuddihy also finding her touch in-front of the basket.
A much improved tempo, which was controlled by Eliza Harrison-Dine and Amanda Sperring also contributed significantly to the success, and there were plenty of other positives to take from what was another pleasing win.
Despite falling to a narrow defeat, the U13B side put in a valiant display against their Merseyside rivals, with Sophie Madden, Naina Babbar, Pip Thomas and Sophie Williams all giving a good account of themselves.
This weekend will see a large number of Rydal Penrhos sides to travel to Oswestry to take on Moreton Hall.
