Preparatory School netball stars took to the court in pursuit of coveted house points at an annual competition.
Rydal Penrhos’ Inter-House Netball tournament was held in cold conditions on Tuesday, April 2, which saw Year 3-6 pupils come together in a series of round-robin fixtures to determine the overall victor.
It was a hugely competitive afternoon of action which was played in the right spirit throughout, and after all the results had been tallied it was Brecon that secured the trophy after a standout series of performances.
House captain Maggie McDuff received the cup from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ final weekly Celebration Assembly before the Easter break on Friday, April 5.
Mrs Hind, said: “It has been another truly exceptional season from our Netball sides across all age groups, and they have worked incredibly hard with Mrs Pyves and other specialist coaches to ensure that they exceeded their goals once again.
“This outstanding progression was especially evident during the annual inter-house competition, and it was great to see young and old working together and supporting each other in a relaxed but competitive environment.
“It was really heart-warming to witness and I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations not only to Brecon House on their victory, but to each pupil that took part for their superb efforts.”
