An intrepid Preparatory School pupil has been spending part of the holidays helping promote sport to young people.
Nathan Richards, a Year 3 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, travelled to Bristol to help on the Pass It On Young Sports at the recent Valley Fest event.
The stand, which was being run by Rob Collins, who founded the non-profit making organisation that are passionate about getting both young and not so young people into the countryside via exposure to various pursuits.
During his work at the festival the eight-year-old assisted on the air rifle range, the clay pigeon shooting and bird of prey handling.
The prep school pupil will also be lending a helping hand to his father on Sunday, October 15, where the organisation will be hosting a North Wales Pass It On Young Sports event, which will take place from 10am-4pm at the Adventure Park in St George near Abergele.
Those attending can enjoy a plethora of activities including archery, in addition to witnessing a number of demonstrations.
