A very talented pupil who simply comes to life in a Performing Arts environment, Daisy will be taking on numerous roles during the upcoming Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The Sixth Former has thrived as a member of the Rydal Penrhos community since joining the school as a Year 12 pupil in 2017, and she wasted no time in integrating herself within the school community across a wide range of different areas.
Her acting prowess has been a prominent feature of Daisy’s outstanding progress, and the 17-year-old produced a fantastic individual performance during last year’s RPS Showstoppers event, which celebrating all things relating to Musical Theatre.
Daisy has been working incredibly hard on developing her skills as part of Rydal Penrhos’ A-level Drama curriculum, which culminated in an exceptional examination performance earlier this month alongside her peers.
She has also taken full advantage of the school’s Speech and Drama provision under the guidance and support of programme leader Christina Bloomfield, and Daisy managed to secure an impressive Merit mark from her recent Grade 8 Gold Medal assessment, which was administered by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Daisy received additional recognition for her contribution to life at Rydal Penrhos with half colours at the school’s inaugural Creative and Performing Arts dinner last year.
