A budding Martial Artist at Rydal Penrhos continued his excellent run of grading results with further success this week.
Dominic Chamberlain, a Year 3 pupil at the Prep School, moved one step up the Karate ladder after successfully coming through his latest assessment, which was held at John Lynn’s Black Belt Academy in Colwyn Bay on Wednesday, June 14.
The talented eight-year-old produced a memorable effort to successfully gain his Brown Belt, and he received from Master Lynn, who trains Dominic and a host of other Rydal Penrhos pupils at the Academy.
This accolade puts the young hopefuls within a few short steps of achieving his Black Belt, and he will now begin working hard in the home of further grading success in the future.
Prep School head Roger McDuff, said: “This is a remarkable achievement for someone so young and full credit goes to Dominic for the commitment he has shown at the Academy.
“He is the latest in a series of martial artists at our Prep School that can be very proud of their extra-curricular efforts throughout the course of the year, and I am confident there is plenty more to come from Dominic and his schoolmates.”
