Rydal Penrhos has confirmed its Boys’ Hockey captain for the forthcoming season.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd announced that Jack Sissons, an Upper Sixth pupil at the school, will be leading the side through the term as they look to build on an exceptional start.
The 18-year-old was formally introduced to his role on Monday, January 23, where he received a handshake from new Headmaster Simon Smith at Assembly.
It promises to be another exciting season across all age groups for Rydal Penrhos’ budding stars, who have begun the season with a series of fine performances.
The campaign will also see the U6 side attempt to defend their national championship crown, which they won last year.
Mr Boyd, said: “Jack has demonstrated tremendous leadership qualities during his time here at Rydal Penrhos, having already skippered the school’s Cricket side.
“I hope he will put this experience to good use in what promises to be a very exciting season for Hockey sides across all age groups.”
