Honey secures Merit from LAMDA grading assessment

A Preparatory School performing artist has been rewarded for her hard work with an impressive grading triumph.

Honey Hodgson-Jones, a Year 3 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, recently sat her Introductory Graded Examination - Solo Stage One assessment prior to the festive break, which was administered by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

The enthusiastic pupil dedicated a great deal of time to preparing for her examination during specialist sessions with Rydal Penrhos’ Speech and Drama provision, and Honey managed to thrive during the assessment to secure a Merit grading as a result of her efforts.

Honey has already begun working hard in the hope of securing further success in the future, and she received her certificate from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 8.

Mrs Hind, said: “This is a wonderful achievement from Honey’s perspective and what that she can be enormously proud of.

“To see her developing her skills as part of our dedicated Speech and Drama provision is a testament to the passion, care and determination she displays across all areas of life here at Rydal Penrhos, and I am confident that this is going to bring plenty more accolades as she progress through our exceptional Prep School.”
