A wealth of Preparatory School hockey talent was on show at a special competition.
Rydal Penrhos’ annual Inter-House Hockey Championships took place prior to the Christmas break, which saw Pembroke, Brecon and Snowdon battle it out for bragging rights under the stewardship of dedicated coaching staff led by Head of Girls’ Games Jude Pyves.

After a hugely competitive day of action, Pembroke managed to narrowly beat out Snowdon and Brecon to claim the crown, with Year 6 duo Fflur Pierce and Sophie Edwards collecting the trophy from Prep School Head Alison Hind at a recent Celebration Assembly.
This rounded off a sensational series of victories for Pembroke, with the House also claiming the Football and Cross-Country competitions to further boost their points total.
Mrs Hind, said: “As has been the case throughout the years, out Inter-House Hockey Championship was another fine example of not only the talent currently learning and progressing at Rydal Penrhos, but their ability to work together as a team in the pursuit of their overall goal.
