A Preparatory School performing artist has added to her list of accolades with an impressive examination result.
Cerys Williams, a Year 6 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, managed to secure a Distinction from her Grade One Acting Solo assessment, which was administered by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
The Head Girl came through the assessment with flying colours, and she will now begin working hard in the hope of gaining similar accolades at a higher level.
It has been a busy few weeks for the ten-year-old, who was part of an all-star cast at Venue Cymru for their annual Pantomime ‘Peter Pan’ over the festive period.
She has also achieved another Distinction in her Grade Two Modern Theatre Dance examination from the Imperial Society Dance Examination Board.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Cerys is incredibly passionate about all things associated with the performing arts, and it is evident that she has a great deal of talent in a wide range of areas associated with the profession.
“To achieve two distinctions from different fields in a relatively short space of time is a testament to her work ethic and dedication, and her experience performing at the Venue Cymru pantomime will stand her in good stead as she looks to go on to bigger things in the future.”
