Staff and pupils will compete against each other in a special golf competition next week.
The school’s Academy stars will lock horns with their coaches and other staff in of the Rydal Penrhos Cup, which will take place on Friday, May 12 at North Wales Golf Club in Llandudno.
The competition, which has been reinstated following the surge in popularity and success of Golf at the school, will be played in match play style akin to the Ryder Cup, and six pairs are expected to do battle against each other.
It promises to be a fantastic evening of action, and the likes of Charley Simpson and Wales international Reuben Bather are sure to make things difficult for the competing staff as they look to get their hands on the prize.
There will be a wide range of abilities on display, and Golf co-ordinator Ian Richardson is hoping to assemble a strong staff team to give the talented pupils a run for their money.
He said: “Many of the staff have taken part in the cup before and come out smiling on the other end, with the Ryder Cup style format sure to fire up both staff and the pupils taking part, and it should be a lot of fun.”
