Golf Academy stars at Rydal Penrhos will test their skills at some of the finest courses in North Wales as part of Activity Week.
The school have arranged a special Golf Tour covering three courses across the region, and Reuben Bather, Charley Simpson, Osca Clark, Adrian Lewis, Richard Wolfendale and Niall Richardson headed off on their journey early on Monday, July 3.
Day one (Monday) will see the group travel to Henllys Hall Golf Club situated in Beaumaris, before they embark on the picturesque Anglesey Golf Club in Rhosneigr on Tuesday.
The three-day tour will conclude on Wednesday with a round at the notoriously windy Prestatyn Golf Club, where the academy players will have their resolve tested on the difficult terrain.
This is one of a series of trips scheduled as part of Rydal Penrhos’ annual Activity Week, which is held during the last week of the academic year at the school.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd, said: “Our Golf Academy has once again thrived this year and it is going from strength-to-strength thanks to the hard work of each pupil and the coaches we provide here at Rydal Penrhos.
“We have achieved a great deal of regional and national success in both team and individual events, which shows just how far the programme has come in such a short space of time.
“With the talent we currently have here I am confident that this is just the start of their success, and I would like to thank Ian Richardson in particular for his tireless work and enthusiasm.”
