Rydal Penrhos Preparatory School gave five deserving pupils the role of Prefects for the current academic year.
Prep School Head Alison Hind revealed the news at Rydal Penrhos’ first Celebration Assembly of the new half term on Friday, November 9, which saw leadership positions awarded to members of the Year 6 group.
Taking on the Prefect positions are Zack Coverley, Daisy Yates, Pippa Roberts, Freya Berklay and Chloë Tillman-Lennon, who all impressed during the assessment and probationary period in the lead-up to their respective appointments.
All four have made a fantastic contribution to Prep School life and have taken full advantage of the wealth of opportunities afforded to them as part of Rydal Penrhos’ diverse academic and co-curricular programme organised by dedicated teaching and support staff.
In addition to their strong progress inside the classroom, Pippa, Zack, Daisy, Freya and Chloë have also thrived in areas such as sport, music and drama, and they have also contributed significantly to various concerts, performances and inter-house competitions to further highlight their influence within the Year 6 group.
Each of the new appointment will work closely with Head Boy Ellis Lister-Brookes and Head Girl Grace Watkins, together with deputies, Senior Prefects and House Captains to ensure to efficient running of the school from a pupil perspective in the coming months.
Mrs Hind, said: “Zack, Pippa, Daisy, Freya and Chloë have all left a considerable impression on life here at Rydal Penrhos and they are significant and deserved additions to our Prefect team.
“Their confidence, determination and the respectful way they conduct themselves will serve as a fantastic inspiration to younger children who are looking to emulate them in the years to come.”
