A wealth of Preparatory School musical talent will take the stage for the first concert of the spring term next month.
Rydal Penrhos’ brightest young musicians will be taking part in the next Young Performers’ Concert, which will be held at the Lyndon Library on Tuesday, February 13 from 6-7pm.
Each pupil involved will be working tremendously hard in the lead-up to the showcase with Music teacher Richard Davies and other specialist vocal and music coaches that come into the Prep School.
This quickly follows on from the hugely impressive Christmas Concert, which saw all year groups contribute to a festive-themed demonstration of their musical prowess and brought with it some well-deserved plaudits.
This is the latest in a series of concerts and performance opportunities offered at Rydal Penrhos throughout the academic year, which have been implemented with a view to improving confidence and gaining more experience of playing under pressure in front of a live audience.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Young Performers’ Concerts are always thoroughly entertaining affairs, and given the wealth of talent set to perform next month’s event promises to be no different.
“Encouraging creativity through Music and the Performing Arts is something we actively encourage here at Rydal Penrhos, and it has proven to be extremely beneficial for our pupils in relation to their overall development in and out of the classroom.”
