A host of talented musicians will be taking the stage for one of the prominent dates in the Rydal Penrhos calendar next month.
The school will be hosting its annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 11, which will feature performances from staff, pupils and the Community Choir.
Also featuring heavily will be Rydal Penrhos’ choir, orchestra and jazz band, with those in attendance guaranteed to leave the event in plenty of festive cheer during what is an action-packed week of activities before Rydal Penrhos breaks up for the end of term and the Christmas period.
The showcase, which is set to start at 7pm, will feature a plethora of individual and group performances across all age groups, with some surprise performances from staff also expected to further demonstrate the diverse range of musical talent currently living and learning at the school.
Director of Music Pete Williams and Music teacher Richard Davies are currently forming a fantastic programme for the event, which always draws a large amount of support from the entire Rydal Penrhos community.
Mr Williams, said: “Our Christmas Concert is one of the showpiece events of the academic year here at Rydal Penrhos, and I expect this year’s event to be another massive hit with those that come along to see for themselves just what wonderfully talented staff and pupils we have here.
“I always feel very fortunate to be able to work with such hard-working musicians and vocalists who are extremely passionate about improving and getting the very most out of their incredible talent, something which both myself and Mr Davies strive to do on a daily basis here at Rydal Penrhos.”
