Excitement is building for Rydal Penrhos’ senior hockey stars as they prepare to embark on a continental tour this weekend.
The school is once again teaming up with MSG Tours for the latest excursion, which will see the boys’ hockey group travel to San Sebastien in northern Spain from Sunday, October 28 until Friday, November 2.
They will be based in the Koisi Hostel, which is located five minutes’ walk from Playa de La Concha, with the squad taking part in competitive fixtures and specialist training sessions to enhance their skills further during the week.
A number of different activities will be available in addition to their pre-season training and tour matches, which include taking in the region’s sites, a surfing lesson or a chance to view a Spanish La Liga contest at either Real Sociedad or Athletic Bilbao.
