Director of Music Pete Williams has urged staff, parents and pupils at Rydal Penrhos to learn the lyrics to a song ahead of a special event.
As part of the school’s End of Term Celebration service on Friday, July 7, Mr Williams has decided to sing a song that can be sung by all pupils from Early Years to Year 12 and all staff and parents.
The talented teacher has written a song around the theme of inspiration, and has asked that everyone attending the service takes the time to become familiar with the song to get as many people as possible singing at the event.
Mr Williams has enlisted the help of Prep and Senior School secretaries Christine Bramhall and Sarah James to help spread the word, and he has also put the song up on YouTube to aid with the process.
He said: “The aim is to get the whole church at St John’s singing to make a huge noise before Rydal Penrhos breaks off for its summer break.
“We have had so many memorable moments throughout the academic year at events such as these, and I want us to go out with a bang to give everyone in attendance a treasured memory that they can look back on fondly during the holidays.”
