First XI vs Wirral Grammar School:
Loose fielding and erratic bowling left the hosts on a healthy total of 150 - 9 after their opening innings. In reply we could only manage 120 resulting in a 30 run win for Wirral.
More willingness to take singles when they are "on" would have won us the match and these decisions need to be made much earlier in the match.
Owen Reilly scoring 50 was the highlight as well as Jack Jones’ hat-trick of wickets.
