Rydal Penrhos’ Community Choir will be lending their support to a special concert in aid of a regional cancer charity.
The group will be performing at the Llandudno Friends of Tenovus Care Spring Concert, which will take place on Saturday, April 13 at the United Reformed Church in Rhos on Sea.
The event is celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Sing with Us Llandudno Choir, and the concert will also feature performances from the Jessica Thomas Country Band and the Llandudno Choir.
All proceeds will be donated to Tenovus Cancer Care, who aim to help prevent, treat and find a cure for the disease.
They do this by offering support, advice and treatment to cancer patients and their loved ones, in addition to providing healthy lifestyles and fund cancer research to find new ways to prevent it, diagnose it, and treat it.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced at £5 per adult and £2 for children, and they can be purchased from Tenovus Cancer Care shops in Llandudno or Conwy.
Alternatively, contact Rose on 07800 525113, and anyone wishing to attend can also pay on the door.
The Community Choir was set up in 2013 to bring together the voices of people associated with the school, and the choir has enjoyed a phenomenal amount of success since its inception.
It is led by Rydal Penrhos’ immensely talented Director of Music Pete Wiliams, and the choir performs at high-profile events such as the Christmas Concert and Speech Day.
